Everyone tends to dream about being able to predict the future, especially when it deals with such short-term aspirations as winning the lottery. However, I am more concerned with the long-term evolutionary perspective that advances the human race. My time-frame is 10-1,000 years from now.

In my references to the past, I am looking well beyond the normal birth to death life-cycle experiences of individuals. My interest is in the origins of mankind and its historical development over time.

Our identities are often boiled down to ethnicity, race and nationality, which immediately leads to certain biases. Anthropologists tend to agree that all humans have evolved from the same species, called Homo Sapiens. In the human evolutionary chain, there were many other humanoid species but Homo Sapiens proved to be the most adaptable and intelligent.

Our ancestors figured out that they would have a higher chance of survival if they were able to migrate to other parts of the world with different climates and broader food supplies.

Skin color is often a cause for prejudice in modern societies but our ancestors who started the evolutionary journey from Africa were originally dark-skinned. According to genealogists, lighter skin colors are simply the result of a missing chromosome.

Gene architecture is complex, leading to differences and imperfections that made some individuals stand out in their tribes and communities. Darker skinned people mistakenly felt that lighter skinned individuals suffered from some unknown disease and tended to banish them from their enclaves. This prompted the latter to migrate and settle in far-flung geographical locations where their skin color was an advantage. This led to the exploration and settlement of the Eurasian, North American, Australian and other continents and archipelagos.

This sweeping anthropological history obviously requires much greater detail. It is meant to be a reminder that our survival over thousands of years is in a great part attributable to ancient societies that were able to live in a cooperative and respectful way for the greater good of all. In our human essence everyone on this planet is basically the same.

I have been closely following and analyzing the timing of president Trump’s tweets regarding China, Canada, and Mexico.  I am convinced that they can be correlated to the artificial manipulation of stock market slumps that subsequently create inflated new highs. This is a major interference in the free market system that underpins liberal democratic economies.

One of the basic tools used by stock market experts is technical analysis. It uses specific formulas to understand the behavior of markets. Two of the most commonly used are the Relative Strength Index (RSI) and Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD). RSI is used to track when the market is overbought or oversold. It usually triggers a reversal of market direction and momentum. The relative strength of this signal defines the level of correction. One example of this is the Fed’s announcements of changes in interest rates. In my example, this is precipitated by Trump’s tweets on tariffs.

President Trump’s tweets relating to China, Mexico and Canada are perfectly timed to correspond to an oversold market position. It is quickly followed by another tweet in the aftermath of the market correction. As an example, Trump may tweet that he will increase tariffs on Chinese goods by 10%, which causes undue fears in the marketplace that can lead to a sell-off of vulnerable stocks.

This is a prime case of artificial manipulation of stock market prices that distorts the normal flow of market activities. Upon closer scrutiny, it becomes evident that this type of deliberate distortion is repeated over-and-over again. The explanation given may be that the Chinese president Xi has bowed to Trump’s pressure. Actually, this promotes an inflated upward movement in the market, creating a new, or testing a previous, high.

A few years ago, I wrote an article on the ease for the National Security Agency (NSA) to access private password information without using expensive decryption technology and computing power normally required for this complex task. This simple solution could lead to a free application that everyone can use from the backend data.

I then proposed that it may be much simpler and much cooler to have everyone store their passwords in a way that is accessible to NSA without all that hacking. Following my article, OneLogin issued a statement on their website which ended their “no charge” password storage option. For more detail go to: https://www.onelogin.com/blog/rsa-2014-recap

As a continuation of the NSA story, if you browse through app stores for business productivity apps, you will spot quite a few that are highly rated and totally free of charge. You can choose from a plethora of e-mail apps like Edison Mail, Spark, Email Client. So, wouldn’t it be easier for NSA, instead of hiring hundreds of hackers and spending billions of dollars on computer power, to create a top-notch app where everyone can safely chat and send e-mails for free? It would certainly facilitate the search for the precise information that they need without all that secretive hacking.
